About Me

Hello! I'm Megan, an Atlanta-based artist living with my partner and our three boys. As a lifelong creative and largely self-taught fiber artist, I embrace a holistic approach to life, nurturing the mind, body, and spirit through my art.

My Journey

My creative journey has been a lifelong adventure, deeply influenced by my travels and experiences. From the intricate designs of the Indigenous artisans in Arizona to the ancient dying techniques of France, the handcrafted knitwear of Nepal, and the vibrant weaving traditions of Morocco, I've drawn inspiration from cultures around the world. Though I initially pursued a career as a CPA, my passion for art led me back to creating with my hands and heart. Over the past ten years, I’ve delved into various fiber art techniques, including latch hook, felting, weaving, embroidery, macrame, crochet, punch needle, tufting, and dyeing. This exploration has allowed me to blend ancestral methods with contemporary design, pushing the boundaries of texture and form to turn craft into art.

Creative Philosophy

I find joy in experimentation and constantly challenge myself to take new risks and try fresh techniques. Each piece I create is one-of-a-kind, starting from an idea or sketch and evolving organically through the incorporation of diverse techniques, colors, and materials. My work is vibrant, textured, and influenced by the trends and cultures I encounter during my travels.

Collaboration and Projects

I’m always working on new projects, many of which become available for purchase. I love collaborating with clients to bring shared visions to life and am available for large-scale commissions and installations.

Unique Creations

Each piece is handcrafted using beautiful materials, resulting in a finished product that is distinctly unique and one-of-a-kind. My work embodies the culmination of my experiences and inspirations, offering a modern aesthetic that is both personal and universal.
